WESTPORT PARKS & RECREATION

Skateboarding (offered in fall)

It’s time to learn something new! Westport Parks and Recreation is teaming up with American Originals Skateboarding to offer a new and dynamic skateboarding program designed for children with special needs and challenges. This is a great opportunity for each participant to learn new skills and accomplish something they may have never thought they could! Through this program children will not only learn skateboarding skills, but will gain confidence, teamwork, and build friendships. Peer mentors and volunteers will be used to keep it moving and fun!

Notes: Children must have protective gear – elbow pads, kneepads, and helmet.

Inclement weather will cause the program to cancel for the day.
