There’s a lot going on here in Westport Public Schools – and the Board of Education wants to hear from our community. What’s on your mind? What questions do you have about anything related to our students’ education? 

Transportation, budget, facilities, strategic planning, academic achievement, COVID learning loss, equity action plan, recess, library displays, reading scores, start times… come tell us what you think! 

We will host a conversation on Tuesday, November 15 @12 noon at the Westport Library. Long-time, former RTM moderator and Westport educator, Velma Heller, will moderate a back-and-forth dialogue among the public, the Board of Education members, and Superintendent Tom Scarice.

So that we may best plan and discuss the most topics, we would love to learn areas of interest before the meeting. Please email boe@westportps.org to let us know what you may most want to cover. Time permitting, there will also be an opportunity at the end of the meeting to raise additional topics as well.
