The 2023-2024 Kindergarten Registration process is underway.
If your child turns five years of age on or before January 1, 2024, please register him/her as soon as possible. Registering now allows the District to optimally plan for your new kindergartener.
All Kindergarten registration information is located here.
If you are unsure about the elementary school your child should attend, please refer to our school locator.
At our Community Conversation back in November, there were topics on the agenda that we did not get to cover, namely books in the high school library that are being challenged and our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion action planning. Come with your questions for a back-and-forth exchange among community, Board of Education, and administration.
The Board of Education will host a conversation on Tuesday, November 15 at 12 noon at the Westport Library. Long-time, former RTM moderator and Westport educator, Velma Heller, will moderate a back-and-forth dialogue among the public, Board members, and Superintendent Tom Scarice.
Westport Public Schools, in partnership
with Effective School Solutions, presents a workshop that explores the signs and
symptoms of clinical depression and will help parents explore their concerns.
Westport Public Schools buses are now equipped with GPS technology that will allow its families to view the bus as it nears its stops through a program called WheresTheBus.
