Constitution Day

September 17 is federally recognized as Constitution Day in the United States. Constitution Day commemorates the creation and signing of the U.S. Constitution. Each year in the Westport Public Schools, students learn about the Constitution and U.S. citizenship in social studies classrooms through a broad range of civics lessons, activities, and discussions. Young Entrepreneurs Take Over Westport Library for Inaugural "Mini Moguls Marketplace"

On Thursday, February 5, the Westport Public Library hosted the Mini Moguls Marketplace, a youth business fair founded and organized by local student Aanya Gandhi. Designed for students in grades 5-8, the event provided a hands-on platform for young entrepreneurs to launch their own "businesses," selling handmade goods and curated items to the community.

Westport Public Schools Honor Veterans Through Community, Learning, and Service

Westport Public Schools honored Veterans Day on Monday, November 11, 2025, with meaningful programs across the district that brought students, staff, families, and local veterans together. From preschool through high school, students learned about the courage, sacrifice, and service of members of the United States Armed Forces and found age-appropriate ways to express their gratitude.
